The “Lancet” Regulator — Precision Set for Your PCP Airgun

Designed by Robert Lane, the “Lancet” is a high-performance regulator for PCP airguns, developed to make better use of the air available in the cylinder while maintaining a more consistent pressure to the firing system.

An unregulated PCP typically delivers its most consistent performance through a relatively limited portion of its available air charge. As the cylinder pressure changes, so does the pressure available to the firing system, resulting in a gradual change in shot performance.

The Lancet regulates the air supplied to the firing system, allowing a much greater proportion of the cylinder's usable air capacity to be used within a controlled pressure range. This helps maintain more consistent shot performance throughout the regulated portion of the fill.

The result is less shot-to-shot variation, greater repeatability and tighter groups down range. For the serious shooter, that consistency makes it easier to reproduce the same shot time after time and get the most from the accuracy potential of the airgun.

Each regulator is individually set by Robert Lane to suit your airgun and shooting requirements. Your regulator is supplied set to the pressure or power specification you provide.

Key Benefits

  • Improved Shot-to-Shot Consistency: Regulated air delivery helps maintain a more consistent pressure to the firing system, reducing variation between shots.
  • Greater Usable Air Capacity: The regulator allows a greater proportion of the air cylinder's capacity to be used within the regulated pressure range, rather than relying on the relatively narrow sweet spot of an unregulated PCP.
  • Increased Shot Count: By making more effective use of the available air, the Lancet can provide substantially more consistent shots per fill, depending on the airgun, regulator setting and overall tune.
  • Tighter Groups: Reduced shot-to-shot variation improves repeatability, helping the shooter maintain tighter groups at distance.
  • Set to Your Requirements: Each regulator is individually set by Robert Lane to the pressure or power specification you provide.
  • Wide Pressure Range: Adjustable from 20–150 Bar (290–2175 PSI), providing a wide range of settings for different PCP applications.
  • Fast Cycle Times: High-rate coil springs provide rapid regulator response and repeatability, making the Lancet suitable for a range of PCP platforms, including semi- and fully automatic airguns.

    Installation & Maintenance

Installation requirements vary between airgun models. For this model, no breathe hole is needed and so no drilling is required. The regulator breathes through the reservoir once the reservoir end seal is removed, allowing straightforward installation without modification to the air cylinder.

The compact Lancet design minimises the space occupied inside the air chamber, helping to preserve the available air volume.

    Precision Manufactured & Tested

The Lancet is CNC manufactured from high-quality materials and engineered for reliable, repeatable performance.

Every regulator is individually checked and tested before dispatch. Each unit is set to the required specification and backed by a 2-year warranty.

    What's Included

    • “Lancet” Regulator
    • Spare O-ring seal kit
    • Silicone lubricant
    • Installation guide

Optional accessories are available for selected airgun models, depending on the requirements of the installation.

    Important Information

When ordering, please provide your airgun model, calibre and required power or pressure setting. Where applicable, specify your required ft-lb / Joules power or Bar / PSI pressure setting.

If you're unsure which setting is appropriate for your airgun or shooting requirements, please contact us before ordering.

Remove Old Regulators: Follow Our Step-by-Step Guide

Some airgun models may come with a regulator already fitted. In this instance, customers will be required to remove this regulator before fitting our precision regulator. Details on the methodology for removing a pre existing regulator can be found in our blog post "Complete Video Guide: Installing a Lane Regulator - Step-by-Step Instructions", please scroll down to find section 8. Removal of the Regulator.
